Every home tells a story. The chair you reupholstered in a fabric nobody else would even think to consider. The vintage coffee table you got for $10 on OfferUp that somehow works perfectly with everything else. That one throw blanket that's been on every sofa you've ever owned. These are the pieces that make a house feel like a home, and that's exactly what Refined Comforts is about.

I started this blog because I genuinely believe that your home should be a reflection of who you are, not just a copy of a showroom floor. There are so many beautiful, interesting, one-of-a-kind pieces out there. You know, furniture with history, art that sparks conversation, decor that makes people walk into your living room and immediately say "woah, where did you get that?!" It’s just that most people don’t know where to find it.

That's where I come in.

Refined Comforts is a space for people who care about the details. Who want their home to feel curated, not just decorated. Who'd rather spend time finding the perfect piece than settling for whatever's most convenient. I'll be sharing the finds, the inspiration, the styling tips, and the design principles that I've come to love and stand by. With a particular soft spot for Mid Century Modern design, which I think captures something timeless about the way beautiful things should also be useful things.
